Le Marais - UE4

This project was made over the past few months, under the mentorship of Ryan Benno.
With this environment, I went through a bit of hometown nostalgia and wanted to celebrate the beautiful cultural diversity of Paris, more specifically the neighborhood of Le Marais.

The goal of this project was for me to create a modular kit for the buildings, learn the Ultimate Trim technique used at Insomniac, as well as work with world-aligned textures, detail normals, vertex painting, and masks. Ryan was a huge help throughout all of this, introducing me to these new concepts, guiding me in the right direction and helping me achieve my vision for this environment.
